General Overview
The 7/8 gate push is a warpgate only push that hits around the 9:30 mark with +1 attack.
Build Order
- 9 - Pylon, scout
- 15 - Forge
- 17 - Nexus
- 17 - Photon Cannon
- 17 – Gateway
- 17 – Pylon
- 18 – 2 x Assimilator
- @100% Gateway > Zealot and CyberCore to finish off the wall.
- When the zealot finishes send it to the watchtower so you can see if a roach all-in is coming.
- Sentry and +1 attacks as soon as you have the gas.
- @7:00 – 7:30 – Double Gas at natural
- 37- 6/7 gates
- Push between 9:30-10:30
Execution
make sure you can get a proxy pylon near your opponents base. As soon as warpgate finishes, warp units near your opponents base and attack. Try to warpin whatever counters the units that your opponent has e.g. If he has lings make zealots and if he has roaches make stalkers. It should punish any zerg that is being very greedy and took a very fast third w/o getting many units.
